Abstract:Transport of radioactive material from different fields of operation is well advanced in the Nordic countries. Several types of transport casks/containers are in use for this purpose. It is of great importance that uniform requirements are applied for the quality assurance during manufacturing and recurrent inspection. This report proposes control programmes to be set up in the Individual Nordic countries. The report can also support quality assurance work presently in progress within the IAEA.
