The project ranged from source term evaluation, to detailed dispersion/transport modelling and long term consequence assessment. The aims of the project included assessment of the potential for disparities and fractures in the assessment of impacts from a nuclear accident due to the implementation of systems for the estimation of dispersion of contamination and the behaviour of contaminants in the environment in years following an accident.
