Abstract:PREFACE This literature survey is part of the work carried out in a project of the Nordic Nuclear Safety Program 1990-93. The project deals with the management and disposal of radioactive wastes resulting from the cleanup of large areas contaminated by fallout from nuclear accidents. The purpose of the project is to improve the preparedness of the Nordic Countries to deal with the consequences of nuclear accidents. In the project three different scenarios, one for urban, one for agricultural and one for forest environment, will be worked out in 1991-93. The present literature survey compiles the relevant information available in the literature.
