Abstract:State-of-the-art information on methods for management of nuclear accidents affecting foodproducing areas has been reviewed, evaluated and transposed to reflect conditions relevant to the Nordic countries. This data, describing in detail the various method-specific costs and benefits, is reported in a well-arranged format facilitating analyses in connection with decisionmaking. Guidance, recommendations and examples are given as to how the individual data sheets may be used in emergency preparedness planning.
